You have not quenched the smoldering wick, nor broken the bruised reed, nor despised the day of small things; but having had the help of God, I continue up to this time.

Worldliness is whatever makes righteousness look strange and sin look normal. David Wells
Today our home was filled with the pitter patter—or rather “stomp stomp stomp” of 14 pairs of little barefoot feet. Laughter, yelling, dancing, singing, running, hiding, seeking, eating, drinking, playing, reading, learning. My heart was full of joy. This is our hope for our home. That it would continue to be filled with these sounds. From our own children and from their friends. That families would come and be comfortable, opening and closing the fridge, washing dishes, doing laundry, moving about as if it were their own. That we would be together and have everything in common. Breaking bread in this home with glad and sincere hearts. Looking to the One who holds us all together. Oli and I are both longing for homeownership. We were reminded of this longing more recently as it's been difficult dealing with neighbors. Moreover, I think I've grown weary of our current home's layout. There is no dining room. The dining room has always been my favourite room of any home we've lived in. Surely, this hasn't stopped us from enjoying meals together and having friends and f
