My green peaches

“Pick me one of those peaches.” But it was early summer, and “the time of peaches was not yet.” They asked why he would want the green, unripe fruit. Venn replied, “Well, my dears, it is green now, and we must wait; but a little more sun, and a few more showers, and the peach will be ripe and sweet. Creation Glorious

I've been going on walks with Marla (Elizabeth & Simon) on Saturday mornings at SIX THIRTY!! for a few weeks now. It's been very nice.  Today as we were walking on the Main Street bridge, a lady stopped in front of me, took a deep breath while stretching her arms out to the side, and said "aahhh, isn't it a beautiful day?" "Yes, God's creation is beautiful." I replied.  At the mention of the name of the LORD, she recoiled. Her hands fell by her side, and she walked away.  The heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim His work. Day after day they deliver their speech, night after night they make Him known.  (Thank you Poor Bishop Hooper, I didn't even have to look that up). For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks. Romans 1:21 *pictured: our view from the bridge

small steps to bravery

My sweet, shy, and sensitive boy is growing up! He is still sweet, shy, and sensitive, and yet brave! Just last year, you could not have told me that this guy would be holding a gecko! And making it his business to catch lizards and pet cats and dogs. I am so proud of him. Father thank you for the Faltz boys who are such a good example to our boys. Help me to be careful to encourage but not make this ultimate. Save him Oh Lord! Bind his identity to you and nothing else! Whether he is afraid or bold he might bring you glory in all that he does.  *pictured: our brave son, holding a pet gecko at a family from church's home
